Say you become aware that a company/organization is committing fraud. Not just a little dishonesty, but massive fraud. You know the right thing to do is to expose them; but the only way is to steal and make public the necessary document. Morally, do you have a right to take these documents? Morally, do you have a choice not to?
Recently hundreds of files were hacked and published from Britain's Climate Research Unit (CRU). The CRU is one of the principal advocates of global warming. It is reported that this was a decade’s worth of data; so far consisting of 1000 e-mails and 3000 documents. The contents of these emails and documents are proving that the "scientist" behind this global warming hoax have known all along that the actual science/data does not support their theory. They and their co-conspirators are frauds.
There was no other way that this information would have come to light; and for this reason we owe the anonymous hackers a debt of gratitude.
Of course the "scientist" can't directly dispute the facts now presented in their own writings; so they have no choice but to attack the messenger; even an anonymous one. So what hysterics are we hearing...?
1. The hackers only released the e-mails/documents that help undermine the global warming theory.
Answer: This is the old "out of context" argument we see so often. If this were true the "scientist" could easily refute the damaging documents by releasing ALL the documents. Don't hold your breath.
2. It's political; right before the Copenhagen debate.
Answer: OK... it's political... It's still the truth... You're still a fraud.
3. I've been violated, they had no right to take and distribute my personal emails/documents.
Answer: Yes, you were violated. So were Enron executives. You're breaking my heart.
I'm sure there are more whining points I have missed, but be assured that none of them will actually address the facts found in the documents.
Just one of the examples of deception involved the CRU's director, Phil Jones, writing that he had used a "trick" to "hide the decline" in charts detailing global temperatures. Translation; He took the lies and dam lies and hid them in statistics. Of course, I'm sure he was taken our of context, misunderstood, yada yada yada...
Will this be enough to finally bring down the global warming (now climate change) hysteria? I doubt it. This vehicle has already been co-opted by the left on a global basis to implement their socialist/secular agenda; and they know they can count on the lap-dog old media to keep this as hushed as possible.
But as George Orwell once said, "In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act." Viva la Revolucion!
